MAJALAH dinding dengan tampilan pas-pasan alias ngepres, baik tata letak maupun tampilan artistiknya, namun isinya Tegal banget. “Isi memang Tegal banget. Karena porsi isinya 70:30. Perbandingan antara informasi tentang Kota Tegal lebih besar dibanding materi lainnya,” kata Ketua Tim Mading SMA N 2 Kota Tegal (Smadagal), Ari Alan kepada NP, di lobi sekolah, Kamis (6/12) lalu.
Alan mengakui, dalam tampilan mading yang diberi jargon Mading Anak Uhuy (eM-A-yU) hasil kreasi bersama empat orang temannya memang sederhana tapi filosofis. Alas mading terbuat dari streorofom dengan latar belakang warna biru muda, merah dan kuning yang degradatif. Terkandung makna Kota Tegal sebagai Kota Bahari yang penduduknya memiliki semangat dan etos kerja tinggi dalam menggapai harapan masa depan yang lebih cerah.
“Kami sebenarnya pesimis setelah melihat mading karya teman-teman dari sekolah lain yang begitu artistik dan taat letak lebih heboh,” aku Alan. Lantara itu, Alan dan kawan-kawan tidak habis pikir, begitu Mading Smadagal dinobakan sebagai juara I oleh Panitia Lomba Mading Antar Sekolah tahun 2007 yang diselenggarakan Disdik dan UPTD Perpustakaan Daerah Kota Tegal.
Proses pengerjaan madingpun waktunya ngepres. Tapi berkat bimbingan guru bahasa Inggris Fitri Spd, dan kerja keras tim akhirnya berhasil menyisikan 6 peserta lain. Tim terdiri dari Ari Alan siswa kelas XI IPS 1 selaku Ketua tim mading dibantu Septi Ade dari kelas XI IPS 4 (wakil), Sigit S kelas XI IPS 3 (editor), Nur Hikmah kelas XI IPS 1 (layout) Ma’rifani FA kelas XI IPS 3 (redaktur),
Rubrikasinya meliputi berita tentang kegiatan Walikota Tegal Adi Winarso S.Sos, tanam 50 pohon mangga lali jiwo.
